I got this idea from the Cherie/Runaways Treat thread where we discussed the unusual white jumpsuit with silver gloves combo and I was thinking of Cherie's rarer outfits (at least in photos if not on stage).
I have a photo of her in the corset but with black gloves on.
There was an outfit with a pinny effect (almost like a nurses)japan period which I have only seen in about one photo.
Also, she wore lame shorts japan period which I have only seen in about two photos.
The red boots as seen in Spin mag seem much rarer than the black or silver (from an earlier period I believe).
There were black denim jumpsuits, blue ones. Come to think of it, she wore the white one on the cover of a jap Music Life mag.
Beige fatigues.
She ALWAYS looked great.....
(Unlike some of the others.Perhaps there should be a fashion disasters thread on some others' messageboards)

It's been a while since I watched it but I think that blue outfit was also in Spinal Tap (in the workprint at least)

Cherie also wore that outfit for the POPSMEAR photo shoot of Rockstars dressing up as other Rockstars for Halloween...it was a perfect match for her David Bowie guise!

Scanned another Cherie photo from her solo tour. The quality isn't too good, but it's an outfit I haven't seen in any other photos. It's an aqua jumpsuit with one leg and one sleeve! http://home.att.net/~sirelton/cherie_solotour1.jpg

i'm here, never far away....
what i'd like to see is more outtakes from the Queens of Noise album cover photosessions....her belt which almost 'shone' went well against her dark get-up (which i could never tell was black or chocolate brown). not sure about the scarf but it was the 70s for godsake!
yours, SG

Okay, who's shirt was it? The blue button up shirt that Cherie barely has buttoned on the inside of the gatefold of the first album cover is worn by Joan in some photos, for example in the Crawdaddy (Oct. 1976) with the gals on the cover. Same goes for that faux diamond necklace, both wear it at different times. Speaking of Crawdaddy, there is MORE gold lame' to see, i.e. Cherie is wearing a halter top made of it on the cover. Plus a Bowie T-shirt inside the issue...

there are many instances of the runaways wearing 'each others' clothes. I could list many if anyone's interested.....
I believe the outfit SG refers to (the Q of N)was worn more by Joan.....
I knew someone who knew someone who allegedly had it in storage...
